Translator uses AI models in two features:

File translation is a long job: the model is fixed when the document is queued and doesn't change midway, so the whole file comes out written the same.
Where the model is chosen
The model isn't chosen in Translator: your organisation chooses it once, under Organisation → AI models in your account, and it applies to every application at the same time. There you can see, feature by feature, which models the platform authorises and which one is in use.
