What is People

Overview

People is your organization's people management, inside the apps: every employee's record, structure (positions, sites, departments, contract types, and contracts), the working day (schedules, absences, vacation, and clockings), each person's development (CV, competencies, and performance), and recruiting new hires, with a public careers portal. Every person also gets their own self-service view — their schedule, their absences, their clockings, their CV — without asking anyone.

People is also the single source of this data for the other apps: when Projects needs to know who can be staffed on a project, or Finance needs a person's cost, they read it from here.

Self-service

Much of the app has two sides: a management view (for whoever administers it) and a "mine" view (for any employee, on their own data) — My schedule, My absences, My clockings, My CV, My competencies, My performance, My interviews. What you see depends on your role and your relationship to the data: always your own, your reports' if you're a manager, and your department's if you manage it.

The AI assistant

People ships with an assistant you can ask in plain language — "who's on vacation next week?", "give me the org chart for the sales department" — and an MCP connector to use the same data from Claude, ChatGPT, or any compatible client.
