Estimates, sales, purchases and contacts

Read-only documents

Financial documents — estimates, sales invoices, credit notes, sales receipts and purchase invoices — are created and edited in Holded; Finance only reads them. The only thing Finance decides about a document is which project it's attributed to (see project attribution).

Estimates, sales and purchases

Three listings, the same shape: filter by contact, project, payment status (unpaid, partial, paid — derived from what's actually been paid in Holded, not the raw status) and date range. Open any row for the detail with its lines, taxes and amounts.

  • Estimates — what's been quoted, accepted or not.
  • Sales — invoices, their credit notes and sales receipts.
  • Purchases — supplier invoices and expenses.

Taxes and tax models

Taxes lists the tax rates configured in Holded. Tax models is a view over those taxes and your documents: it helps you see, per quarter, the base and amount that belongs to each model (303, 111…).

Contacts

Contacts lists your clients and suppliers exactly as they are in Holded — name, trade name, email, tax id, city. You can search by any of those fields.

If your organization uses Projects, each contact can be linked to its client in Projects: open the contact's page and pick the matching client. That link is the only editable thing about a contact — everything else still comes from Holded. A correctly set link is what lets project attribution know which client each project belongs to.

Chart of accounts and daily ledger

Chart of accounts and Daily ledger are the formal bookkeeping, as kept in Holded: the list of accounts with their balance, and the entries one by one, paginated and filterable by account.
